Conklin Financial Planning uses an interactive seven-step structured approach to financial planning.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry

After reviewing the information on this web site, schedule a no-obligation Get Acquainted Meeting. Download the Confidential Questionnaire. Completing the questionnaire helps you pull together all of your financial information into one place – an important first step.

Step 2: Get Acquainted Meeting (our first meeting is no-cost no-obligation to you)

We will discuss your questions and concerns on which you are seeking advice and how we may be able to assist you. You will also receive a fee estimate for the engagement. If you decide to work with Conklin Financial Planning, you will be sent a link to the Client Portal to enter your data. A down payment of 50% of the estimated fee (maximum $500) is due at the time of the engagement.

Step 3: Data Gathering

You will provide the requested documents and information. Once the necessary information is received, review and development of your financial plan will begin.

Step 4: Interactive Goal Setting Meeting

If appropriate, we may schedule an interactive meeting to further refine your goals and clarify issues.

Step 5: Analysis and Plan Formulation

The information provided is analyzed and any required research needed to prepare your financial plan is conducted. A final report is produced that includes observations and specific recommendations.

Step 6: Presentation Meeting

Present and review your financial plan with you. Provide recommendations and an action plan checklist to guide your implementation of the plan. Answer any questions you may have at the time. Discuss any implementation assistance that you may require. Balance of payment for actual fees incurred is due at the conclusion of this meeting.

Step 7: Plan Implementation and Follow up

Proper implementation of your financial plan is crucial to reaching your financial goals. You can implement on your own, or you can continue to work with Conklin Financial Planning to assist in the implementation. Feel free to ask any questions on your plan for the first 30 days. Schedule additional engagements to work on other areas of your financial plan, if necessary. Plan future check-up meetings to address any changes in your situation and updates to your plan.
